The Broker — What It Is
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
That last detail tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Scam brokers do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you commit.
